CAMPUS COORDINATOR
BEST Disability Support is an NDIS-funded learning centre in Logan that teaches real life and work skills to young people aged 16-30 with intellectual disabilities. We move fast, pivot quickly, and grow at lightning speed to ensure our Members are always receiving the BEST support possible.
Opportunities for the position in Slacks Creek, Greenbank, and Hillcrest.
The Role
The role will extend from 7.30am - 3.00pm from Monday to Friday.
We need someone who is a real-time problem-solver, with high energy and a love of providing exceptional disability support. We move at a lightning pace, so this role is a much better fit for someone who loves to get physical throughout the day and doesn't like being in one place for too long. Being cool under pressure and being able to multitask is a MUST!
What You'll Do
As Campus Coordinator, you'll ensure daily operations run smoothly and act as the primary point of coordination for on-site issues.
Coordinate daily operations, including staff changes, Member attendance, and transport adjustments.
Act as the on-site lead for problem-solving, incidents, and crisis response - escalating where required.
Ensure the campus is safe, organised, and operationally ready at all times.
Allocate daily mentor duties and coordinate appointments and activities.
Approve timesheets and oversee daily sign-in processes.
Communicate key updates to families when required.
Support program delivery and actively engage with Members.
Your Experience
Experience in disability support, education, or community services preferred.
Strong operational and problem-solving experience in a very fast-paced environment is a must!
Demonstrated leadership in high-pressure situations.
Your Skills
Be cool as a cucumber!
Confidence with the G Suite.
Confidence using Canva.
High level of knowledge using Tanda specifically is highly regarded.
Ability to work effectively in loud environments with heaps of fun stuff happening around you!
Know how to engage young people with intellectual disabilities to foster their learning, and be a fun mentor they can always rely on and have fun with,
Essential Certificates and Licenses
You will need to have obtained the following before starting:
NDIS Worker Screening & Blue Card
First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain)
Fire Warden training (or willingness to obtain)
Current Driver's Licence
Right to work in Australia
Cert IIl in Individual Support
